Where We Stand

The earth beneath our feet. The sky overhead. The sun on our skin. Fresh air filling our lungs. The buzz of nature all around. The sound of laughter. A flurry of questions. This is where children truly come alive.

And this is the belief most traditional programs have forgotten. Children are not problems to be managed into stillness. When given the freedom to be themselves - loud, messy, curious, adventurous, full of movement - children flourish. They don't just learn. They thrive. They become lifelong lovers of learning. They discover that they can be responsible for their own education, and that learning can happen anywhere they have a question.

Scholarships

Full and partial scholarships to help families access forest school programs around the world

Gear Grants

Forest school requires quality gear, which isn't cheap - especially as kids outgrow things every season! Our gear grants help families ensure their children are properly dressed throughout the year.

Program Grants

Funding to help programs expand, complete projects, and enrich learning tools. In addition, we provide scholarships to teaching staff to become certified in nature-based education or expand their existing certifications.
