Meet the Team

Even before her first son was born, Kelsey was drawn to alternative forms of education. When she crossed paths with the Forest School movement she knew it was going to be a big part of their future. As her son grew old enough to join a local Forest School program one thing became glaringly clear - money was a challenge in this space. Whether it was families being able to afford tuition and gear (every year new gear!!), programs who desperately needed large infusions of money to enhance or expand their programs or replace worn down elements, there just wasn’t enough money for ANYONE. Since she was a child, volunteering and fundraising have been second nature. Having more than a decade working in technology, she’s seen the impact that can be had by a meaningful organization working around the world using technology to be as streamlined and cost-effective as possible. They say when your skills and your passions find a way to intersect is where you can make magic, and that’s the goal with TerraLumia.
